Formation Opportunities

Columbia students, faculty, and alumni are offered a full range of programs organized and sponsored by the Merton Institute—classes in Catholic theology, lectures and seminars on Christian thought and culture, conversations with accomplished professionals, spiritual direction, and more. All of the Institute’s activities seek to inculcate the enduring richness and wisdom of a Catholic vision of life and help people to discern, embrace, and live out their human and Christian vocation in the service of the Church and society.
